New Ceiling Fan Blade

sycamore_fan.jpg Ever notice how your ceiling fan blades are straight out? Well, it looks like we’ve been doing it wrong for some time now. It turns out that the best design for a fan blade is to bend it into the shape of a seed pod from a Sycamore tree. Spin it at just 70 to 130 revs per minute, and you’ll have the same airflow as a regular fan spinning it’s heart out at twice that speed. You can get these in Australia, but expect this technology to spread around the world before too long. Someday all fan blades will be made this way. Don’t just apply this new technology for ceiling fans, let’s see it on some PC fans as well. Cut the RPMs in half, and we’ll have less noise.
