No SDK For iPhone

Yes, you heard right. No SDK for the iPhone. According to Apple, “No software development kit is needed for the iPhone.” That may be true in a sense, but the truth is that the lack of a SDK means that there won’t be any amazing new applications for the iPhone. This also means that the iPhone’s potential as an amazing communication and application platform will never be truly unveiled. Since there’s no SDK for the iPhone, it won’t make a revolution no matter how hard Apple tries to sell it. Steve Jobs is initially selling the iPhone as Apple’s next revolution, just like how the Mac was a revolution. I do think the iPhone will change the way we look at communication devices today, but I do not think it will be a revolution. It’s true that the iPhone brings different ideas and innovation, but the iPhone is just as nice as anything else on the market. Read more at Gizmodo.
