The MulTicket Knows You

medium_multiticket-smiley.jpg The MulTicket is an amazing concept that I would greatly like to have one day. Designer Bence Bogar is planning the MulTicket so it can carry your identification information, pay charges, give directions, tell you where other MulTicket users are, and if you were looking at the picture, obviously smile, while displaying your information with it’s LEDs. The idea would well work in areas you would need information in front of you. With all that information one has to handle about itself, the MulTicket would be perfect for everyone. Now, I’m hoping the real thing will look as stylish as the concepts.

Electric Drumset – Let Your Fingers Do The Work

fingedrumsmain.jpg You might have seen some finger drum sets around, but none as convincing as this piece of work. This $19.95 Electronic Drum Beat Maker has heads that light up when you hit them, and even the cymbal makes it’s own sound. Each part of the drum plays it’s own rhythm, and the cool thing is that you can string together a sequence, and record it, later playing it back to someone who cares. This would be a nice thing to play with if you were bored at one time, or another.

“Rocobo” Loves You

rocobo.jpg If you’re the kind of person that spends most of their time on the computer, like me, you might want to get a “Rocobo” from our over seas friend. Coming out in August in Japan for about $11, the little boxy robot will keep you company on those lonely cold nights on the computer, while you’re reading my blog =P. It will be there for you through the good times, and the bad. If you treat Rocobo poorly, it will shake around, or swing it’s arms. Treat your Rocobo right, and you might just hear a little song for your efforts, a fortune, or a smile on it’s little LCD face. Amuse it, or abuse it. Which side will you take?

Robotic Venus Fly Trap

fly1.jpg The fly trap is an automated fly killer modeled after the Venus Fly Trap. The mouth is filled with a non-toxic substance that flies can not pass up. When the flies come around for it, one of the two sensors are triggered, and the jaws slam shut. After a couple moments, the jaws reopen to let out a AAA-powered electronic burp sure to entertain the little ones. The vendor calls the trap a

rivolous, yet somewhat practical solution to the summer fly problem,

and I couldn’t agree more. About $30.

Rumor: Flash Zune To Come In 4GB & 8GB

Three New Mid-Sized HDTV’s By Viewsonic

viewsonic35series-lg.jpg Viewsonic has just released a new line of three mid-sized HDTVs, which are sized at 26, 32, and 37 inches. The 720p sets all have 500-nit brightness, and 8ms response times, with the contrast ratios being set at 800:1 for the smallest set, and 1,200:1 for the two larger ones. They come with your standard inputs, from HDMI and component, to S-Video and RCA. The largest model also has DVI for hooking up to a computer. There’s nothing to fancy about these sets that will wow the neighbors, but for the price, ($599, $699, and $899), you’re getting a pretty decent HDTV for your money. Not everyone can own a 70″ HDTV in their home.

LED Closet Lights By Philips Are Smarter Than You

philipsled.jpg Philips has come out with some new, fantastic, magnetic LED lights that will come out the end of this year, and are perfect for the closet. Why the closet you ask? The closet because they’re magnetic, cordless, and turn off by themselves after 15 seconds of not sensing any motion. They cost about $10-$15 each, and have a magnetic back that makes changing it’s three AA batteries a breeze. The lights are really bright, which we thank the LEDs for, are white, and will be available in silver first, then other colors later. Be sure to check these out.

iHome’s Retro Radio Look

ih10w_hr-copy.jpg The gang at iHome took a step back in time to bring you a retro look with their new iPod stereo. The iH10 is their take on the Table Radio with a built-in iPod dock, AM/FM Tuners, and a line-in jack on the backside. Inside the wooden cabinet, there is a 3.5″ speaker, which at $49 probably will not fill a room as some other docks you may consider. Look for the iH10 coming out this summer.

XPower Xantrax Mobile Mini Charger – Charge Two At Once

We have seen portable battery packs before, that only allow you to charge one thing at a time. XPower’s Xantrax Mobile Mini Charger charges two things at once. Yes, you heard right. Two devices at one time, thats double than any another charger can do. The Mobile Mini has a USB port, so you can plug in pretty much any USB-friendly charger, like for the iPod. It also has a Mini-USB port so you can also charge up those new Windows Mobile phones too. At $49, which isn’t too expensive considering the fact it does twice the work, it’s a bargain indeed.

More Colors For Your Zune

colorwarezune.jpg Remember that what I posted about getting a different color for your XBox 360? Well the company that does those paint jobs, ColorWare, also re-colors your Zune now. Just like the XBox 360’s, you can either ship them your Zune, and get it re-colored for $74, or buy a completely new and re-colored one for $325. Unfortunately, the re-coloring process ruins the doubleshot effect the Zunes have. But on the plus side you do have the option to make the front, back, wheels, and buttons all different colors. I’d say thats a good gain over the loss of the doubleshot effect. Click the link below and let your imagination run wild. Check out the Christmas colors!
